Welcome

It was February 29, 2020 and my fiancee Natacha and I were in an airport in the Caribbean returning home from a week in St. John. We snickered as we saw an overcautious passenger with a face mask and a bottle of lysol. We were done with our wedding planning, done with our vacation and really done with winter! Things were looking up.

A few days later, a dark cloud formed on the American consciousness. I remembered sitting with my grandpa on the swing we built together when I was a child as he told be about life during the Great Depression. Swift and sudden bank closures, immediate poverty, empty stock values-all of this prompted me to call Natacha and tell her to stock up on supplies for her and her mom for a few weeks, go to the bank, and to start accepting that we might not have the wedding we'd planned for. 

In retrospect, I called a few things wrong. The money from the bank was actually the opposite of the problem-nobody wanted to touch it. And I should've advised her to stock up on toilet paper! But we were right to adjust our wedding plans. 

As a wedding videographer, I could read the writing on the wall. Things changed quickly and drastically for my clients. It was heartbreaking to see some of the situations that developed. I made a promise that I would refund every deposit if my clients truly could not retain my services. Filming weddings sadly turned into being called to film funerals. I knew a change was needed if I was going to start my marriage off with a range of talents, so I began studying for my real estate license. 

The months passed and Natacha and I were able to enjoy a wonderful small ceremony-just perfect given the circumstances. Our 230-person wedding and honeymoon to Europe would have to wait. But things were good. I got my real estate license and she qualified to enter a nursing program after years of working in several hospitals as a phlebotomist. 

My 15 years as a business owner (starting in high school) has taught my invaluable lessons in customer service, diligence, relentless marketing and most importantly honest and loyal attachment to my clients. With the backing of some of the largest real estate companies around, I know my training will enable me to guide you in your moving process.
